Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German actress on television and film most well-known for her roles in films like Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Born as the only children to Romanian actor Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra entered showbiz early and landed up performing lead roles in various TV dramas before she was sixteen. Her critically-acclaimed performance in the television film Der Tunnel paved way for other notable roles including the role of Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudl Junge in the critically and commercially popular Oscar nominated historical war drama film Downfall. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex and The Reader are also Oscar-nominated movies featuring this beautiful diva. Alexandra is known for her work in numerous important projects in both the US as well as internationally. These include British biographical Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time as well as the French historical mini-series Napoleon and many more. In addition, she was a member of the jury for the Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
